If
the Western/Civil War era is your cup of tea, then you will want to
check out Hell On Wheels – AMC Network's gorgeous looking
show that is now premiering its final episodes on Blu-ray disc. The
show follows the journey of Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount), a soldier
who sets out to exact vengeance on the Union Soldiers who have
murdered his wife.
In
these final episodes of Season Five, Bohannon finds himself in
Truckee, California - where the Central Pacific Railroad was born.
Historically accurate and at times brutal, the show is constantly
entertaining and will especially be so for history buffs that like
lush production design.

Episodes span two discs including Two Soldiers, Return to the
Garden, 61 Degrees, Gambit, Any Sum Within Reason, Railroad Men,
and Done. The show also stars Christopher Heyerdahl, Byron
Mann, and Colm Meaney and is produced by John Wirth (Terminator:
The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Falling Skies).
Presented
in 1080p high definition with a widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 and
a great sounding DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 5.1 lossless track that
sounds crystal clear. The presentation here is a vast improvement
over the original digital broadcast. If you're a huge fan of the
show, I would definitely suggest picking this up.
