Diana Krall – Live In Rio: Special Edition DVD Set (Eagle Vision)

With her music selling well, her Barbra Streisand-produced album debuting at #1 and her popularity in general climbing, Eagle Vision is reissuing the recently release Diana Krall – Live In Rio DVD in an expanded edition.  We covered that DVD and the Blu-ray that was issued at the same time at this link:

The DVD’s are exactly the same in picture and sound performance, so it is the extras that make the difference.  The Rooftop Sessions that were a Blu-ray-only bonus are on the second DVD here, while the first retains the interview and Boy From Ipanema Music Video.  DVD 2 adds a Quiet Nights Music Video and three new concerts sections.  We get eight songs in The Toronto Becel Benefit Performance, three songs from The Madrid Session and two songs from The Lisbon Session.

 

They are all good and if you are a big fan, you’ll want this set, but those with the Blu-ray might wonder why the new items were not on that release to begin with.
