Dau, a young girl from the countryside who is raised by a grandmother who taught her witchcraft has a very different life.  But when her grandmother becomes ill, she is forced to move to the city and work in a go-go bar as a prostitute to buy the medicine.  Unfortunately, the city is not kind nor is it easy, as she matures she uses her magic to protect herself from her various enemies and people who would take advantage of her body.  But as she uses more magic there is a price, an evil spirit begins to take over her body...

Palisade Tartan Asia Extreme brings a chilling tale of dark magic and evil spirits.  A young girl thrown into a city of sin and vice uses magic to her advantage to survive, but as she rises she is envied among her peers and she resents the foreigners who think money can buy her.  With each usage of magic, she eventually breaks the taboos her grandmother warned her about; soon another evil spirit begins to enter her body.  She finds she is in a nightmare of her killing people, unable to tell reality from dream...

This is the age old tale of be careful of what you wish for and power can corrupt, a tale of first tragedy, sorrow, then horror.  A young innocent girl, loses her innocence and virginity in coming into the city, she starts to use magic to punish those who took advantage of her.  As she grows and matures the jealous of other increase, but so does her magic, but with usage she loses a shred of humanity, a trail of corpses starts appearing.  Evil begets evil and people will reap what they sow, but when no one is innocent how is anyone to survive?

The anamorphically enhanced 2.35 X 1 image was shot in 35mm film, we believe Super 35, but is softer than expected.  The Thai Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo mixes are not great, with the 5.1 barely playing better than the other.  An older edition supposedly had DTS, but could it have sounded much better?  Extras include the original theatrical trailer, production photos. a Music Video, behind the scenes featurette, Soi Cowboy Go-Go Bars featurette and Director’s feature length audio commentary.
