Ted Nugent – Motor City Mayhem (Eagle Blu-ray)

Eagle has yet another Ted Nugent home video release, but
this time, it is a Blu-ray and the event is his 6,000th
concert! Motor City Mayhem is more of the same featuring 22 of his classics
played in his usually Wildman form.
Examples of the previous concerts on DVD include Sweden Rocks here:

That has a link to Full
Bluntal Nugety, so you get the idea of what you are in for. The 22 songs are pretty much the same as
these offerings so diehard Nugent fans will have no problem, but others who
have the DVDs might wonder if they need more.
Of course, if you must have Nugent on any disc, this Blu-ray is the
place to start and has the best playback.
It is the newest concert of the three.
The 1080i 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image can have
detail issues and motion blur, but still is the best any Nugent video has
looked to date. Editing can be off a
bit, while set ups more static than expected, but it is a small step up from
the other releases. The DTS-HD MA
(Master Audio) lossless 5.1 mix shows limits in the mix, while the Dolby
Digital 5.1 and PCM 2.0 Stereo are even a bit weaker, though the DTS sounds as
good as the previous DVD and CD releases.
There are no extras.
