Heather
Locklear still looks sexier than most women her age, which automatically means
she can go after men nearly half her age in the silly TV movie Flirting With Forty, which still wants
to be family-lever comedy (including holiday music in the beginning) as she
needs to get her own kind of “groove” back.
Too bad it did not come with a good script.
A
divorcee with children, she goes on a trip to Hawaii and wherever there is sun
and you have to spend much money to travel, there is always love and sex to be had.
At least it is not outright sleazy and yes, Locklear does look
good. Guess she must be sharing advice
with Joan Collins and Kim Basinger. We have
seen worse and this is harmless for the most part, but it is also predictable
and boring, so see it at your own risk.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image was shot in HD, but it has less motion
blur and better color than expected, while the Dolby Digital 5.1 mix actually
has a good soundfield for a TV production and dialogue is nicely recorded. There are no extras.
