Cannibal Terror (1981/Severin DVD)

Picture: C     Sound: C     Extras: C     Film: D

Do you like eating people?  Do you like watching other people pretending to be eating people?  Well, if you answered yes to either of those questions than you are perhaps one of very few people that will find Cannibal Terror to be tolerable.  Then again this is exactly the type of film that uses its trashy-ness as promotion, it’s amazing that Troma didn’t put this out!

The film stars Robert Foster and Pamela Stanford, who are involved in a kidnapping scheme that leads the parties into the jungles where raving cannibals attack them with poor acting, unnecessary nudity, and ravenous scenes of people eating fake guts.

Presented in a 1.85 X 1 transfer and Dolby Surround 3.0 the film is about what you can expect technically as well.  Washed out colors, poor definition, and a sound mix that is about as good as any Middle School could produce these days.

Only for sick EuroTrash junkies!
