our look at the nice DVD sets of all the classic Three Stooges shorts Columbia

Sony is
now up to Volume Four: 1943 - 1945 and
to my surprise, the shorts still look terrific (especially for their age) and
remained as funny, wacky and energetic as before. The 21 shorts include howlers like The
Yoke’s On Me, Idle Roomers, Gents Without Cents and Idiots
Deluxe. Unlike their colorized
versions, these shorts in their original monochrome presentations here are
impressive and in these clean, upgraded new-looking prints, more hilarious than
ever.
These are
supposed to be “fan requested” and that is fine, but for fanatics, does that
not refer to the entire series?
