The new
cycle of Scooby Doo films try to fill the gap of all the “early years” TV shows
played out and just do not work. Similar
to Chill Out, Scooby Doo, it has
turned a fun formula into a very tired one.

This
time, the gang go on (get this) The Grim Reaper Railroad (I bet with a name
like that, they get loads of bookings) and becomes a Halloween adventure that
never adds up. Lauren Bacall and Tim
Curry among other big names participate in the voicing, but in vein. It is just child safe, but is no holiday
classic. The 1.33 X 1 image looks good
for some of the new animation, but has also become a tired formula look. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is adequate at
best. Extras include some minor games
and trailers.
