So the
BBC has another comedy soap opera hit.
What started as maybe a mini-series has evolved into a hit TV show. We have already reviewed what turned out to

Not much
changes with Season Two, just a
matter of copy and pasting the same formula of lust, ambition, greed, and all
those other nasty little things into the corridors of these luxury suites and
it’s another formulaic season at Hotel Babylon.
Divorce parties, Russian gangsters, and a masked ball are at the center
of this season making for some interesting TV at times, but overall nothing
that either hasn’t been done before or done better.
The
technical specs are on par with the previous season with a 1.78 X 1 anamorphic
transfer and Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mix that are both fine and work
well. You really have to be a fan to
really want to grab this set, but others should beware, it’s a downward spiral
from there on out.
