Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue - Volume Two (Warner DVD)

Picture: C+     Sound: B-     Extras: C     Film: C

Continuing our look at the newest series of Scooby-Doo spin-offs, another review for the latest series, aimed at younger children.  We have already covered the first volume of the “Get a Clue” series of Shaggy & Scooby-Doo, it’s a real shame how gutted these adventures are from the original series from the late 60’s and early 70’s to the point that modern audiences/young kids are being deprived of the true nature of Scooby and Shaggy, especially when the live-action and digital Scooby arrived and trivialized the franchise to a whole new low.

In this set are 4 more episodes:

Smart House

Lightning Strikes Twice

Don’t Feed the Animals

Mystery of the Missing Mystery Solvers

The episodes are presented in their original 1.33 X 1 Television aspect ratio and look good, but hardly impressive, same goes for the standard Dolby 2.0 mix, which will suffice, but won’t exactly wake up the neighbors, then again they won’t want to come over and watch this with you anyway, so may as well keep the volume knob somewhere around…mute.

Read a little more about the show from the link to our coverage of the first volume:
