Elmo and
other next-generation Sesame Street
characters go into the park and discover lessons in how to preserve natural
resources in Sesame Street – Love The
Earth, a new DVD from the hit TV series that has its unintentionally funny
moments and offers lessons that are usually good.
The
problem is, the show has been made so politically correct that this version
oversimplifies things at times and in a few cases, some items were up for
debate in ways that have nothing to do with politics, making feel too much like
a product of current thinking instead of adding up to something bigger, but the
good outweighs the mixed and it is a decent installment of the continuing DVD
line.
The 1.33
X 1 image is the same as usual in this series, colorful, shot on analog video
and clean, though this disc has some aliasing errors. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is good, clean,
has no surrounds and sounds just fine.
The only extras are previews for other Sesame Street DVDs.
