Love’s Unfolding Dream (2006/Fox DVD)

The
phony, politically slanted RHI TV movie melodramas set in the past, but with a now
and future hidden, condescending agenda continues with the remarkably awful Love’s Unfolding Dream (2006) marking
the sixth long, drawn out, silly, annoying, lame Janette Oke novel series Love
Comes Softly, the original adaptation of which we covered at the
following link:

This is
pushing it, and is so safe, it should come with band-aids and aspirin. This is a soap opera of sorts, but to go into
much would be to spoil the series overall, something I will not do no matter
how much I do not like it. If you have
to see these, start with the first.
Otherwise, know that “boredom comes even more quickly” and skip these
lame excuses for good TV.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is very soft, lacks detail, depth and
color is also not that good, which sabotages anything good that comes out of
the locations and sets. The Dolby
Digital 2.0 Stereo is supposed to have Pro Logic surrounds, but is so slight
itself that it is barely legible at times. Two trailers are the slight extra.
