Pets! is not only a good, decent children’s show, it is practically an operetta
of sorts as the pets sing through each adventure. Wonder
Pets! Save The Beetles is a four-episode/eight adventure collection and
yes, this is a send-up of the real Beatles, using amusing sound-alikes that
dodge copyright infringement and are not that bad.
The show
in general is child-friendly with its puppets and stop-motion look. The only thing I never could answer is why so
many need saved so often. Otherwise, it
is a good show.
The 1.33
X 1 image is late analog professional NTSC video with no surprises and some
digital refinement, while the Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is good and it has to be
with the constant singing. The only
extra is a Music Video for “Kelp!”.
