Three Can Play That Game (Sony DVD)

I like
Vivica A. Fox and she is enough of a star that she was able to get a sequel
made to Two Can Play That Game
called Three Can Play That Game and
though it did not get much of a release, she is a good lead in it and it makes
her look good without being a vanity project.
She gives her cast plenty of opportunities to shine, even when the
script is sex obsessed.
Of
course, it is also about relationships, revenge and trying not to get used, but
it really does not go any further than the first project and is for fans
only. At the peak of her charm and
beauty, not to mention how underrated she is as an actress, it is a solid
production and if you liked the first film, worth a look. However, see the first one before you see
this and it will likely work better.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.85 X 1 image is soft and though consistent, either is
shot in HD or has a poor digital internegative.
Editing that is stable helps the image.
The Dolby Digital 5.1 in all languages is lacking in surrounds and has
some limits in the recording of the original English dialogue. Extras include deleted scenes and some
previews for other Sony DVDs.
