More unofficial biography projects have now been made on Madonna than any other female vocalist or performer in music history and the British made Madonna – Wild Angel is more watchable than expected, though far from perfect.

 

Running 96 minutes, it is more thorough than expected, it is worth a look simply for telling parts of the story that are already being lost to the exploits of the new generation of pop tarts trying to be like her and failing miserably.  It is also more professional than many such attempts since her arrival on the music scene and deserves credit for that.

 

The 1.78 X 1 image has more than its share of motion blur, but is watchable and has some good archive footage with its new interviews.  The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is adequate for the interviews, but no official music was used.  The only extras are four extended interviews.
