It is
said the Holy Grail will grant the wishes of the one who possesses it. Hidden in the dark are The Holy Grail Wars. Every few years the Grail selects seven
magicians (masters) with seven servants and they face one another, whoever
survives will get their Grail and they wishes granted. Emiya Shirou gets caught up in the war and is
forced to fight and learn what it means to be a master... Teamed up with Saber,
Shirou must fight the other masters, trying to find and discover who they
are...
This is
an amazingly beautiful drawn anime filled with action, adventure, and mysticism
drawn from varies legends all over the world. Each 'servant' is a reincarnation of a hero of
legend of the past, mixed with magic hidden in modern day.
A lot of mythical characters show up in the series,
legends of famous warriors, weapons and creatures, but even with old legends
this series give them a new twist making the story unpredictable and exciting,
keeping viewers on edge and back for more...

The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image looks very good for this format, though
the artwork is so good, we wonder how much better this will look in
Blu-ray. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo in
both English and Japanese have healthy Pro Logic surrounds. The only extras are Rider's Diary and Op
& Ed Music Clip.
