The Mystery! Collection (WGBH)

WGBH Boston Video has issued The Mystery! Collection, which features the opening shows of three of the best series they have handled in the genre and on the show to date.  They are series we are also very fond of here at the site and think they made some great choices.  Though we covered the shows along with later installments/episodes in our initial coverage, here are the links to those previous reviews with full details on the great content and fine audio/video performance:

Though Exxon/Mobil Theater featured the Lynley pilot, it quickly went to Mystery!  These are series that are exceptional and still do not have the audience in The United States they deserve, so this could help that cause.  The DVDs in this set are essentially the same exact copies as those previously released, but nicely repackaged in an illustrated box that makes for a great gift and is as good a place as any to start if you are just discovering the anthology series.  Well, better late than never and this is a smart move on the part of WGBH.  Be sure to check out all of the mystery and Mystery!
