Murphy’s Law means that anything that can go wrong will
and the hardcore Punk band that dares to name itself this way is courting
trouble. They are not bad and their new
concert DVD Up With Us… Down With Them was shot in two different locales
with similar results. The titles are
the usual ones about drinking, anger, discontent and dumb fun. You can tell they are a current such band
form their dress, confined angry attitude and lack of politics; as the lyrics
never realize the title.
If you like this era of this kind of music, then you’ll
want to check out the disc, but know the 1.33 X 1 videotaped image is soft and
has all kinds of detail limits, troubled color and other flaws. On the other hand, the PCM 2.0 16Bit/48kHz
Stereo is nice, rich and rough the way it should be for this genre. The only extra is a few bonus tracks, but
that’s it otherwise. Well, not as much
went wrong as expected.
