Delta Animal Series – Dog Training/Feline Frolics/Hush! Puppy

Delta has been a company that has put out some fun and
interesting special interest titles, even when they have not had huge budgets,
but the three titles we looked at from their series animal-based shows is very
disappointing. Having no extras, poor
1.33 X 1 analog videotape quality and shockingly poor PCM 2.0 sound, the titles
are very awkward and do not deliver enough of what they promise.
The usually funny Liam Dunn narrates Dog Training – The
John Fisher Way and very little is learned in its hour of pontificating and
dog footage. One would think maybe just
watching dogs be dogs for an hour would be better after that, which brings us
to Hush! Puppy. Unfortunately,
it cannot stay focused on the title animal.
Feline Frolics has the same difficulty, and both offer the oddest
of audio options. You can watch the
animal footage with generic music or the location audio. Neither has much impact.
Conclusion: for extreme animal lovers only.
