Simply put, Peter Jennings and ABC News have put together
this 90 minutes long escapade to tell us that The Kennedy Assassination in The
Kennedy Assassination – Beyond Conspiracy (2003) was really a lone gunman
in Lee Harvey Oswald and a digital version of the famous Zapruder Super 8mm
film of what happened now has a digital copy that proves “The Magic Bullet
Theory” is “magic bullet fact” as some analyst says in one of the tired
segments. If this were the case, why
did now Senator Arlen Specter have to make this up to begin with?
It is a constantly insulting piece that talks down to the
viewer and makes one think The Civil Rights Movement and free thought are all a
waste of time. I have my issues with
Jennings to begin with and this confirmed why he is a shaky journalist. Liberal or not, this is everything from
annoying, to insulting, to condescending, to idiotic, to sadly laughable. The attempt to simply explain away and
counteract everything and then say anyone who believes in the conspiracy is
just nuts is yellow journalism at its worst that has to be seen to be
believed. What really proves how bad it
is are all the questions still ignored, something a short show like this could
not possibly cover.
The full frame 1.33 X 1 image comes from its NTSC source
and is adequate, as is the Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo is simple and basic. There are no extras and I would skip it in
any case, unless you want to build a case for ignorance. Too bad, because ABC News is usually better
than this.
