Ai Yori Aoshi Enishi 2 – Bond (Animé TV)

The second series of Ai Yori Aoshi continues, dubbed Enishi, with this second DVD collection entitled Bond.  The show continues to be acceptable young-female aimed product, but sadly continues to be predictable and formulaic.  For those who lie this series or its predecessor, they can at least enjoy the on-the-side-of-harmless fun of their friendships and interest in boys.  Some may find brief bits racy.  The episodes are as follows:

8) Fish & Water

 

To try and explain what happens in each is pointless, so predictable is it all, but fans should be happy.  This one takes place at a boarding school.  Since the first series was popular enough to inspire this one, the formula is working for someone.

 

The full frame, color image is again purposely soft in parts and is color consistent, but there is still softness throughout.  The Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo again has Pro Logic-type surrounds in both English and slightly clearer Japanese.  The only extras are a repeat form the first DVD of the opening and closing credits without text and previews for three other Geneon DVDs.
