Inspired
by films like Falling
Down,
Stressed
to Kill
(2016) involves one man's war against society and stress by killing
others as his release. Featuring decent performances by Bill Oberst
Jr. and Armand Assante, the film is interestingly made and looks
pretty good for an indie. Directed by Mark Savage, the film brings
up some interesting questions about stress and society as well as the
dark side of human nature.
Bill
(Oberst Jr.) lives a life full of stress. When his doctor advises
him to find a solution to lower his blood pressure, he decides to
take out his aggression on society with a poison dart gun and stars
killing for sport. Though what Bill doesn't count on is a psychotic
cop (Assante) whose trying to put him behind bars for the murder he
has reigned upon the world. Aided by his aggressive friend Stan
(Marshal Hilton), the two hatch a hair brained scheme to keep
themselves out of prison whilst 'stress free' at the same time.
Presented
in standard definition with a widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 and a
lossy Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track, the look and feel of the film
isn't half bad considering the format but as with anything could
benefit from a high def release.
No
Extras.
