Billy,
Lucy and Sparrow have grown up in the same town and been on a driving
team since they were kids and old enough to drive, but after Billy
take a stunt to far, Lucy decides she want more to life than
demolition derbies, alcohol and wild parties and move to Sidney.
Only then does Billy realize how important she is to him and he'll
have to pull all the tricks out of his bag to convince her to stay in
Tim Ferguson's Spin Out (2016).
The
trio (and the rest of their small town) are from a Southern redneck
country town where the town sport seems to be off road racing and
demolition derby. Every guy is unemployed and the only thing they
are good at is drinking and driving (a questionable combination).
After Billy almost killing himself in a car stunt (and her) Lucy
decides she want more than a Redneck life and there must be more to
life than this and to leave town. Only afterwards Billy realize his
feelings toward her, now he'll have to man up (and grow up) to see if
he can tell his best friend how he feels.
This
was a comical romance involving the story of cars, alcohol and young
love. It makes fun of Redneck and Southern culture that there is a
time for fun, games, and friends ...but there is also a time for
growing up. In the end, it is the story of young couples and what
they are looking in life isn't as always as far as they think. Amber
Samuel, Morgan Griffin, Matilda Brown and Emma Booth star.
The
anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1 looks good enough, but
the lossy English 5.1 Dolby Digital track has its ups and downs more
than it should and can be weak. Extras include trailers.
