Andrea Arnold's American
Honey
(2016) is a road-trip movies about rebellious teenagers as they party
their way across the country and eventually end up become criminals.
The film got rave reviews and is very realistic albeit a little long
in length (the film is 162 minutes long!), but its definitely a
worthwhile watch for any interested in the subject matter and
certainly worth checking out for the interesting filmmaking.
The
film also stars Arielle Holmes, Isaiah Stone, Will Paton, Shawna Rae
Moseley, and Riley Keough to name a few.
Star
(Lane), a teenage girl with nothing to lose, joins a traveling
magazine sales crew, and gets caught up in a whirlwind of hard
partying, law bending and young love with the on-edge misfit Jake
(LeBeouf) as she criss-crosses the Midwest, with a band of misfits.

Honey
is presented in 1080p high definition with a full frame aspect ratio
of 1.33:1 and a great sounding English 5.1 DTS-HD MA (master Audio)
lossless digital audio track that nicely represents the original
theatrical presentation. The film's beautiful filmmaking really
shines through on Blu-ray disc, which also includes a digital UV
copy.
