Have
you ever wondered if we really did make it to the Moon in 1968, 1967,
or ever? Well, if you have then you will want to check out this
interesting comedy, that may or may not have some truth to it. Hot
off the amazing special effects of Kubrick's 2001:
A Space Odyssey
(1968), a couple of CIA Agents decide to fake the moon landing
(starting in 1967 apparently), as they discover NASA is planning to
do with the Apollo Project. (If true, wouldn't the Soviets have
exposed this at the time?) Interesting and well made, Operation
Avalanche
makes you hope that there's no factual truth to this major milestone
in not only U.S. history but mankind as well.
The
film stars Matt Johnson and Owen Williams.
Operation
Avalanche
is presented in standard definition with a widescreen aspect ratio of
1.85:1 and a standard lossy English 5.1 Dolby Digital track, both of
which are up to DVD standards and nothing too special, or awful. The
feature could definitely benefit to a high definition upgrade.
Special
Features include...
Deleted
Scenes
Behind
the Scenes Featurettes including 'Reanimating Kubrick' - a VICE
produced Creators Project
Audio
Commentary with Filmmaking and Cast
An
interesting film that conspiracy theorists won't want to miss.
