The Little Busters are about a group of friends living high school life. Each day, they make new/magical discoveries and adventures. As they discover what sort of 'missions' they have each day, they soon discover it is related to their own hearts and desires. As Riki now realize in order to 'wake' from their world they must discover the key from each of their own past in Little Busters! EX: Complete Collection (2014).

From the people who brought you Clannad, this is another funny high school drama. The young protagonist Riki, now aware that he and his friends are living in a dream world of their own creation after some tragedy has happened to them, continue to live in their 'fantasy world' at the very last moment of their lives. And by completing their 'missions' they are able to create a 'miracle' in real life and a chance to change their fates.

This is a comical anime filled with comedy, laughter with heart warming moments. It is a story of stories, each the characters has a story, a tragedy, a past they keep hidden from the world. As the main character helps them face reality and join their world of 'Little Busters' they become bound by love and friendship. In Little Busters! EX, it is more about the side characters and how the main character is able to help them move on with their lives.

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image transfers on all episodes here surpass the two sets we covered of the original series from Sentai elsewhere on this site and now rank among the highest picture performers in their entire catalog with stunning performance throughout, while the DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) English and especially Japanese 2.0 Stereo lossless mixes are warm and offer some Pro Logic-like surrounds. They are fine, but no match for the picture, though they go with it just fine. Extras include clean opening and closing animations and trailers.

Kanata's Secret - Riki helps out Kanata on the student council and discover her secret, that she was tortured and abused by her family in order to protect her sister.

Our Bond - Riki and the Little Busters help Kanata breakaway from her abusive home.
