A
body of a young Irish girl is found brutally murdered in a London
flat and an American girl her roommate, is considered the prime
suspect, but everything and everyone is not what they appear or seem.
Everyone is guilty of something or has something to hide, including a
secret that leads all the way up to the Royal Family in Guilt:
Season One (2016).
After
a wild party, Grace wakes up to find her roommate Molly murdered and
all the evidence points to her ...but then she is no angel either and
ends up caught trying to leave the country after listening to her
drug dealer French boyfriend Luc, whom cheated on her with her former
roommate. Her district attorney sister Natalie rushes over to defend
her, only to find out their sugar daddy stepfather (whom ALSO had an
affair with her dead roommate too) and hired a corrupt lawyer
Gutterie to be a spin doctor to control social media. The list of
suspects continue to increase and grow when Scotland Yard discovers
Grace also had (another) affair with her college professor. And this
is not to mention the paparazzi and her dead roommate's brother who
wants vengeance ...at any cost. But the biggest secret lies with the
fact the Grace, her roommates are private escort girls at a high-end
sex club Courtney for the rich and Royalty ...and they will do
anything to keep their secrets from going public, including
manipulating police evidence and black mail.
First
of all, let me say this series has absolute nothing/similarity to do
with the Amanda Knox case. It is a murder mystery court cases
series, it always seems like the characters are always guilty until
proven innocent. And everyone, I mean EVERYONE is guilty of
something, question is which one is guilty enough to commit murder?
The series makes American girls look like whores and prostitutes, and
if you are beautiful and rich you can get away with murder (pity for
the pretty rich girl). Things got specially heated up with Royal
family also being involved with a sex scandal. Billy Zane and Daisy
Head lead the cast.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image and lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 on
each episode are as good as they are going to get, though the sound
was a bit better. Extras include
'Guilt': Sex, Sin & Scandal, deleted scenes and trailers.
