Everyday,
Woo-jin wakes up to a new face and new body. Even age, gender, and
race might be different... that is until he meets E-soo. After
falling hopelessly in love with her, he attempts to share his secret
with her, but with his ever changing body can E-soo love him, much
less recognize everyday?
In
Jong-Yeol Baek's The Beauty Inside (2015), Woo-jin has a
'special' condition that everyday he might not know who he will wake
up as. Because of that, he secludes himself away from society, from
making friends, fearing that others might think of him as a freak,
but all that changed when he met E-soo, E-soo comes to learn his
secret and still loves him regardless of his changes. Soon, it comes
to a toll when E-soo falls ill due to the stress and anxiety living
with his secret, how can she tell her friends or family, and what if
the world finds out? Woo-jin breaks up with E-soo and then
disappears, E-soo eventually recovers and realizes he broke up with
her to save her, but now can she ever find him again?
This was
an amazing well done and entertaining movie. It is all about how can
you love a person and not care about what he/she looks like on the
outside (asides from being a blind person). To truly not judge a
book by it's cover. It was heart warming and also comical at times,
but in the end it had a happy ending where the female protagonist
decides look for the beauty inside a person.
The
1080p 2.35 X 1 digital High Definition image transfer comes from its
Arri Alexa HD shoot and it is more impressive than expected, as is
the warm, rich, lossless DTS-HD
MA (Master Audio) 5.1 mix that is exceptionally well-recorded and
combines with the image to make this remake of the 2012 Topher
Grace/Mary Elizabeth Winstead TV mini-series few saw. Extras
only include trailers.
