Zork
and Pinky wakes up 1,000 years and find they are (still) chained
together. As they try to remember who they are and what their
purpose is, they discover a new world filled with robots. They
search for a way to break the chain that ties them together, to make
new friends, but when their creator RAM also wakes up can they fight
against their own programming?
In
Prapas Cholsaranont's Giant
King
(2012), Zork was a battlebot who decided he rather be be a preschool
teacher than a fighter, and because of that, Pinky was a robot was
sent by RAM (their creator) to destroy him. Thus, all robots who
don't follow their design are considered 'broken' and must be
destroyed. After being chained together for 1,000 years can Zork
convince/teach Pinky that they can dream and to go beyond what they
were originally designed for?
This was a cute and funny robot
3-D animated kids film. It characters teaches about kindness,
understanding and following your dreams. In the end there is no
power greater than friendship.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image and lossy Dolby Digital 5.1
mix are as good as they can get for the format, so we imagine a
Blu-ray would playback even better. Miniscule bonus episode,
Bringing The Characters To Life featurette, Ultraviolet Copy and
trailers are the only extras.
