After
breaking up with her boyfriend Leah (Sanaa Lathan) meets Carter
(Michael Ealy), a charming and handsome man who seems to be the
'perfect guy'. That is until she finds out he doesn't take reject
too well and has anger issues. Even after breaking up Carter
continues to get involved with her, and won't let anything stand in
the way between him and Leah in David M. Rosenthal's The Perfect
Guy (2015).
Leah is a 36-year-old high powered secretary,
she recently broke off with her old boyfriend because she wanted them
to have kids and he didn't. She suddenly meets Carter a security
intelligence IT agent who charms her and everyone around her off
their feet, but when she discovers he has a darker side she break off
with him, Carter continues to stalk her with his intelligence he
knows hows to work the system and leaves no evidence and spy on her.
Leah only choice in the end is to take things in her own hand and buy
a shotgun and to work outside the law, because the only one who can
protect her is herself.
Can you say desperate women? This was
your typical love story gone wrong. It paints a picture where female
lobbyists use their sexuality to get the job done or anything they
want. It definitely show why people should be pro guns because the
police have to deal with laws, red tape and needs evidence in order
to do anything before helping. Charles S. Dutton and Morris Chestnut
also star.
The
1080p 2.35 X 1 digital High Definition image is an HD shoot with
flaws and problems throughout that range from detail issues to a
generally fake look, so it is a major disappointment, while the
DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 5.1 lossless mix is more like it; good
consistent playback for a dialogue-based film with music. Extras
include trailers and making of the film featurette.
