The compilers usually have a great knack for putting
together good collections, but this one was a bit odd and awkward, filled with
either obscure songs that are so for a reason, or some of the more played-out
oldies, if not oldies from hell. The
picture is black and white and from muddy video sources, except I’ll Feel A
Whole Lot Better by The Byrds in videotape color. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono is also average, with Mrs. Brown
You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter by Herman’s Hermits and She’s Not There
by The Zombies in far better versions on Super Audio CD (reviewed in hits sets
elsewhere on this site), so they really seem aged. There are no extras, but get it if you want these clips.
