Nicholas
Cage will have to 'pay the ghost' to get his missing son back in Uli
Edel's Pay
The Ghost
(2015), a low budget flick that has some interesting ideas and dark
moments that remind me a bit of the Kevin Bacon film Stir
Of Echoes
but ultimately has an ending that is very convenient and predictable.
Pairing up with the Walking
Dead's
Sarah Wayne Callies as his troubled wife, this film with an
interesting premise ends up being mediocre.
One
year after his young son disappeared during a Halloween carnival,
Mike Cole is haunted by eerie images and terrifying messages he can't
explain. Together with his estranged wife, he will stop at nothing
to unravel the mystery and find their son - and, in doing so, he
unearths a legend that refuses to remain buried in the past.
Presented
in 1080p digital high definition with a widescreen aspect ratio of
2.35:1 and a lossless, powerful DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 5.1 track,
the film looks and sounds fantastic on the Blu-ray format. No
extras.
