Captain Earth: Collection 2 (2015/Sentai Blu-ray)

Picture: A Sound: B+ Extras: C Episodes: A-

As the battle for Earth continues, new truths and revelations will come to light. As the Kill-T-Gang gather their forces, they take control of the world controlling conglomerate Macbeth Enterprises. As Daichi, Teppei, and Hana continue to thwart their schemes, Daichi must face his and Hana's growing feelings toward each other, but even a greater revelation is what ARE children and where do their superpower abilities come from?

As Macbeth Enterprises/Global/Ark/Salty Dog Factions show their true colors that they are no more than a puppet governments controlled by the Kill-T-Gang. Every weapon technology advancement Macbeth Enterprises have for the 'sake' of humanity is about them wanting a monopoly in the weapons market. They fail to realize anything with greed, profit is already under enemy control. Daichi and the Midsummer's Knight discover a larger revelation that they are the next stage of human evolution and maybe closer to the Kill-T-Gang species than human.

Captain Earth: Collection 2 (2015) is your typical boy in mecha who is destined to save the world. He finds out he has be chosen to become the Earth's protector and is joined by friends and aliens who also share his feelings. It is too bad the government doesn't feel that way, while claiming to they are saving humanity they build doomsday weapons to attack the very ones who are trying to saving the planet. In truth, the government is evil, caring more about saving themselves and their profit than the people.

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image is just outstanding throughout with solid performance all around, while the lossless DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 2.0 Stereo is strong along with it, making one want a 5.1 mix just to get all the sound out of the soundtrack. Extras include clean opening and closing animations and trailers.
