Daniel
Zirilli's Black Beauty (2015) is far reach compared to the
original Black Beauty feature films people still talk about. It was
more about a girl and her love of horses than the wild spirit of an
untamed station. Black Beauty is about the respect for nature and
helping horse become free and in turn the horse loves and respects
the ones who help them. Luke Perry and Bruce Davidson are the lead
human stars.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image is softer than it should be
but the lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 mix is decent. Extras includes
behind the scenes and interviews on the Making of Black Beauty.
