Scholastic
brings the renowned educational cartoon The
Magic School Bus
to DVD disc in this collectible two disc Season
Two
set, containing all thirteen episodes. The animated series was among
the highest rated PBS shows for school-age children of all time and
will soon be getting a revival from Netflix in 2016.
The
show follows Ms. Frizzle and her class as they journey through a
volcano, take flight high in the sky, and even go back in time and
visit the dinosaurs! Episodes on the disc are as follows: Blows
Its Top, Flexes Its Muscles, The Busasaurus, Going Batty, Butterfuly
and the Bog Beast, Wet All Over, In a Pickle, Revving Up, Taking
Flight, Catching Engergized, Out of This World, Cold Feet,
and Ups
and Downs.
Presentation
on the disc isn't half bad with a standard definition transfer in 4:3
full frame and standard, lossy Dolby 2.0 Stereo track. Seeing that
its an older cartoon and was originally released on VHS, it
definitely looks better than it ever has here.
