Sasha
is a lesbian. Paige is straight. Sasha (Leighton Meester) and Paige
(Gillian Jacobs) has been best friends since forever, but when Paige
suddenly gets a fiance, things start changing between their
relationship. And no way is Sasha letting another (specially a guy)
replace her friendship with Paige. Sasha and Paige have always been
good friends even thought Sasha is gay and they have never been
lovers. They had always had fun with girl's night, sleep overs,
games and late night jewel making kits... and everything was great.
That
was until Paige gets a boyfriend, now Sasha becomes is forced to
become No. 2 when compared to Paige's new boy. As tensions build
between them, they face feelings of jealous, betrayal and lost of the
friendship they once had, but it is only after they separated do they
really learn about themselves and their friendship. Paige ends up
destroying her relationship with her boyfriend when she learns she is
like her mother, a control freak and always blaming others. Sasha
forgets to do her job and gets fired from her job after she spends
too much time on facebook and texting. You'll have to see the rest
for how it works out.
This
was a mix of modern drama with a little slice of life. It was a
comical story of how friendships can change after marriage or finding
a boyfriend/girlfriend.
The
1080p 2.35 X 1 digital High Definition image is just fine for a
recent digital shoot, but the DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 5.1 lossless
mix is more dialogue/joke based than as active a one would like.
Extras include behind the scenes with cast, characters, production
and costume design, A Look at Life Partners and trailers.
