Donnie
Yen proves himself a martial artist with incredible staying power in
this Chinese action adventure film - Special ID. Yen takes on
the role of Dragon Chan, a Hong Kong undercover police officer deep
within the ranks of one of China's most ruthless underworld gangs.
The leader of the gang, Xiong (Collin Chou), has made it his priority
to weed out the government infiltrators in his midst. Struggling to
keep his family together and his identity concealed, Chan is torn
between two worlds.
Upping
the stakes, as Chan's undercover comrades are being dealt with, one
by one, Chan fears his days are numbered. Now, he must risk
everything to take down the organization and reclaim the life he lost
when he took on this perilous assignment. As the action mounts, Chan
must do everything he can to protect the Special Identity (just like
the title of the film states) he wishes he never had before it's too
late.
This
film has it all: incredible stunt choreography, impressive
cinematography, and intelligent directing by Clarence Fox Yiu-Leung.
If you are a fan of Bruce Lee, Jet Li, or even Jackie Chan then this
is a film worthy of checking out! Why isn't Donnie Yen in The
Expendables?
Presented
on Blu-ray with superb sound and picture. The film is captured in
1080p 2.35 X 1 digital High Definition image with incredible color
and detail captured by a RED Epic and RED One MX cameras. The sound

runtime for the film clocks in around 99 minutes.
