My
Man Is A Loser (2014/Lionsgate DVD)

When
it comes to knowing how to get a woman into your bed, Mike (John
Stamos) is a God, so when his 2 best friends are having problems with
their marriage, Mike decides to give them tips on how to get back
their mojo and reconnect with their wives. As they relearn how to
put the magic back in their relationship, Mike learns a thing or two
from his two friends about the one thing he lacks ...commitment.
Men
are from Mars and women are from Venus. Mike's buddies are so busy
with work that they forget to spend time with their kids, much less
listening to their wives and their wives are so busy shopping shoes
and bags, they don't realize that they are the reasons why their
husbands need a guy's night off. The guys need to learn to listen
and be more sensitive to their wives, and the women need to let their
husbands know they love, appreciate and care for them. Both sides
forget how to share their intimacy and that marriage is about
spending their time with each other.
This
was a comical TV movie about men and women and marriage. It seems to
point out in the modern America that having sex and being married
doesn't mean it is the same person (and it is OK too!). And the
reason why men aren't faith is because their women aren't faithful to
them either, to be strong and independent without responsibility
seems to be a theme, but this film was a more a comedy, as the wives
find out about their husband's late night outings and then husbands
finds out the wives found out too.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image and lossy Dolby Digital 5.1
mix are as good as they are going to get, which is fine for something
this simple. There are no real extras, but we get digital download.
