When
Rainie (voice of Victoria Justice) runs away from home, she finds
herself transported to a jungle world where she meets Blue (Josh
Peck) and his adoptive human grandfather (Christopher Lloyd). Blue
teaches and shows Rainie his world, but unfortunately, they are
followed by the villainous Boss who have plans for his 'new' world.
Now it is up to Rainie and Blue to protect their world from the
humans who would harm it in Xu Kerr's CGI animated Jungle Master
(2013).
Rainie
runs away from home when her mother forgets it's her birthday, but in
a freak accident she suddenly is transported to the beautiful but
dangerous Jungle World. Blue saves her life and his grandfather,
they soon become fast friends. Blue has been adopted by his human
grandfather, but then learn about his past and true heritage and
awakens his power (to control the planet's energy and plants). Blue
and Rainie must then use their new found friendship and power to
protect their world from the greedy humans invaders.
This
film was like a mix of The Incredibles and Avatar with
two kids in an alien world saving it from the humans. While its CGI
not as good as Pixar, it was decent, but they could of done a bit
better with the facial expressions and lip movement. This turned out
very well and is worth your time and that of your children. David
Spade, Jane Lynch and Jon Lovitz are among those who also supply the
voices.
The
anamorphically enhanced transfer and lossy Dolby Digital 5.1 mix are
as good as they can be for this format, while extras include voice
recording at the studio, Minuscule Bonus Episodes and trailer
gallery.
