Join
the Robertsons again in Duck Dynasty for Halloween as they
prepare scare up the holidays in three fun episodes. In "Quack
O'Lanterns" they turn their warehouse into a "scarehouse"
and carve pumpkins ...with shotguns. In "Hallu-Si-Nations"
as they take the day off from work, Si tries to convince the boys of
his legendary 'black panther'. And in "Battle of the Brothers",
they guys are convinced Willie is going through a mid-life crisis and
challenge each other to a manliness contest.
The
so-called reality TV show is a comedy of Southern swamp men with a
love of beards, they are all related though either marriage or work.
They work together in the duck warehouse making duck products. Every
episode seem to be about the Duckmen looking for ways to either skip
work or make fun of each other. At the end of each day, they all
gather together regardless of whatever they did at family diner table
and give thanks for their relationships and family. The show makes
fun of Southern culture with overweight swamp hillbillies; not
necessarily a good thing butthat's part of the content. To
understand all their puns and jokes, you must be at least aware of
'80s pop culture, sitcoms and TV shows. They are not so much as
famous but more infamous, and watching them was like watching adult
children.
The
anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 image and lossy Dolby Digital sound
is the same average, generic bore as usual and extras include Ducks
on a Pond.
