Riko just got into an all girl private school where everything and everyone is perfect, but something seems lacking... a bit of excitement (a.k.a. boys). That is until until she catches student council president kissing a life size body pillow (which is named Huggy). Riko is then forced to join the student council and become Maki's aide, friend and confidant. Together the conduct the 'Love Lab' experiments on how to be cute and attract a boyfriend in Love Lab: Complete Collection (2013).

In an all-girls school, girls can't help but have their schoolgirl fantasies run a bit wild. Maki on the outside appears to be the perfect student council president, but really on the inside her imagination runs wild on how to play hookey with a boy. Riko is at first shocked by the president's scandal with the body pillow, but then she also tells a white lie and says that she is also a 'Love Master' with boys (though she's really not). Pretty soon their circle of friends expands with the shy and innocent Suzu, Sayo and Eno. Sayo has a sharp mind and is able to point out anyone's weakness and faults, while her best friend Eno is constantly trying to reclaim the presidency limelight. Together, they conduct the various after school experiments in their 'Love Lab.'

This is what you would call a 'shojo' anime or girl's anime, an anime where the series is about girls, but not a harem (sorry guys, no fan service). The series is about girls who dream of ideal meetings with boys and their comical friendship/relationships with each other.

The 1080p 1.78 X 1 digital High Definition image looks really good throughout each episode if not as amazing as some recent Sentai releases on Blu-ray, while the lossless DTS-HD MA 2.0 Stereo is warm and well recorded throughout, plus has Pro Logic-like surounds those with home theater systems might want to try out to the point that it is even better than the image. Extras include clean opening and closing animations and trailers.

Their Remarkable Encounter - Riko encounters Maki... kissing a life-size hug doll and is roped into being her being her advisor on boys.

The Shy, the Cool, and the Perverted - Maki secret is discovered by Suzu, a quiet girl who likes and admires Aiko's wild side.

Sayo and Eno Declare War - Maki collapses from overwork and Riko tries to recruit Sayo help out with the student council ...but then Eno's prank goes too far.

Love Lab Resumes! Or So We Thought... - Sayo and Eno rejoins the student council and comes up with new ideals on how to hook up with boys.

This is Fuji Girls' Love Broadcasting Station - The girls use the school's PA system to do an illegal broadcast of a report on how to deal with boys.

The Terrible Legend of Riko - The girls meet a boy from Riko's past and that she was a heartbreaker.... now if Riko could only remember who he was.

To the Kurahashi House! - The girls head over to Riko's house to conduct Love Lab experiments... on her little brother.

The the Wild Kid... - Riko learns of her nickname of being 'wild' and the girls try to remake their image and reputation.

That Smile... - When Sayo's boyfriend gets found out by the school, Sayo is forced off the student council the student advisers ...but the girls come up with a plan.

The Elite Student Council (Photos) - The girls share their past photo album and each other's stories.

Love Lab? - The student council wants to have broadcasts show for girls on how advice with their love lives.

Be My Friend Forever - Riko tries to tell the truth to Maki, that she isn't a 'Love Master' before someone else does.

One Hand On Another - Riko makes amends with Maki and they decide on the future of Love Lab.
