Sakamachi
Kinjiro, a.k.a. Jiro has a really bad case of gynophobia (fear of
woman), whenever he is near or touched by the fairer sex he has an
allergic reaction that makes him have a nose bleed like a water
fountain, but when he discovers that their school idol Subaru, the
Butler is really a girl, he becomes the favorite boy toy of her
mistress, Kanade. Kanade makes a deal with Jiro, if he keeps
Subaru's secret, she'll help cure his gynophobia. Suddenly he finds
himself surround by girls and his worst nightmare come true in Mayo
Chiki: Complete Collection
(2014).
Subaru is a butler, but
for various reasons 'she' must be as a 'he' to her mistress Kanade.
Sakamachi Kinjiro has the word 'chicken' in his name (chi-jiro). As
long a he keeps Subaru's secret a secret, Kanade helps plan events to
help cure him of his condition, usually setting him up with dates
with awkward situations. Joining the chaos is Usami a former Subaru
fan turned rival for Jiro's affection. Nakaru a girl into glasses
and BL (a.k.a. boys love, Subaru and Jiro) and Jiro's younger sister
Kureha, who can punch out a bear with a single punch.
This was your standard
harem anime, it is filled with fan service with romantic comedy. All
the joke are surrounded by the main character in the fact that he
can't be close to the girls and the girls love teasing/flirting that
character because of it, but eventually all of them fall for him
because he is such a good guy (and he resisted their wiles).
The 1080p 1.78 X 1
digital High Definition image is as good as any picture quality I
have seen on an Anime Blu-ray to date, while the lossless DTS-HD MA
(Master Audio) 2.0 Stereo sound has exceptional sonics and fidelity
for such a configuration. Use Pro Logic surrounds on this set if you
have it. Extras include trailers and clean opening and closing
animations.
