Years
after getting away from murder mysteries being a teenage private
detective, Veronica (Kristen Bell) has moved to New York City to
start over new life as an NY lawyer (as if that is any better,) but
she suddenly is pulled back home when she gets a phone call from her
ex-boyfriend that he is being accused of murder. Now, she has to get
the gang together one last time to help to clear his name, but is
Veronica up for the job or had she lost her edge?

back to Neptune High where murder is like the daily lunch menu.
Being a teenage detective has left Veronica Mars with string of
broken friendships, ex-boyfriends, and people who gossip behind her
back. Nine years and one scandal later, she is looking forward to
start over her life as a high powered lawyer, but when she discover
her friend was framed for murdering a rising starlet and it involved
the biggest high school/community's cover up, she can't help but itch
to come back and solve the murder. However, nobody is talking when
the rich are paying the cops and the community to shut up and
hide/destroy the evidence, Veronica is determined to find the
murderer and clear her friend's name.
Veronica
Mars is to solving murder mysteries what Buffy the Vampire
Slayer to killing vampires. The show is set in the fictional
Southern California Neptune High School which seems to be a magnet
for murder, where the rich or well connected can get away with murder
and Veronica is the only one who can stop them. This revival is
nothing special, but fans will likely be pleased if no one else.
