Both
the CIA and the Russian FSB are after an international money
laundering company. Alice (Cecile de France) is a deep cover agent
working as an accountant for the syndicate, her job is to get close
to the inner circle of leaders and gather proof of their money
laundering operations, but when she encounters the Russian FSB agent
(Jean Dujardin) and fall in love with him, her affair with both
syndicate and Russian secret service member might blow not only her
cover and endanger the entire operation in Eric Rochant's Mobius
(2013).
Alice
(who caused a big financial screw up to begin with) is an agent sent
by the CIA to infiltrate the syndicate, she is good with numbers she
helps make dirty money into clean money, and seduces the head of the
syndicate. What she didn't expect was to fall in love with her
Russian counterpart, unable to keep away and hands off from each
other, they not only must hide their identities, but their secret
affair from their own intelligent agencies. When the Syndicate
becomes suspicious of Alice's new lover, they risk not only their
lives, but everyone else in the secret service for the sake their of
love.
The
greatest taboo any spy can make is to fall in love, especially with
the other side. And while a secret service organization can never
order a spy to use sex to accomplish the mission, they turn a blind
eye when it works, but will cut the spy loose when it puts the
mission at risk. In the world of spies, you can never trust
anyone... specially the one you sleep with. Tim Roth also stars.
The
1080p 2.35 X 1 digital High Definition image is mixed and sometimes
underwhelming, while the DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 5.1 lossless mix is
very well recorded, mixed and presented throughout. Extras include
making of the film, interviews and trailer gallery.
