Scorned
(2013/Anchor Bay Blu-ray)

What
was to be a weekend getaway, soon turned into horror story. Kevin
(Billy Zane) is caught cheating on Sadie with her best friend, Jen
(Viva Bianca). What Kevin didn't know was Sadie (AnnaLynne McCord)
had mania, and turns into a jealous psycho sadistic maniac and wants
them dead., but before she kills them, she teaches them what it means
to cross her and the price they must pay in Mark Jones' Scorned
(2013).
If
you are going to cheat on your girlfriend, first make sure she isn't
insane. Sadie just found out on her boyfriends cell phone's text
he's been cheating on her. So she plans a special weekend for them
both. After knocking them both out, she drugs them and ties them up
with intentions of killing them, but not before she sets out to
torture them to death. Each escape attempt causes Sadie to takes
pieces of them one by one, 'educating' them for not listening to her,
but they are not alone when an escape convict stumbles into the
neighborhood.
This
was your typical psycho killer girlfriend movie, that hell hath no
fury like a woman scorned, and for boys to never leave any evidence
for your girlfriend to find. The main character Sadie was a former
patient of mania, and she physically and mentally tortures to her
former lover and her ex-best friend as she was torture when she was
younger. There are bits of nudity and sex, but be wary of torture
and dismemberment if you are faint of heart in this torture porn
thriller.
The
1080p 2.35 X 1 digital High Definition image transfer cis
a styled digital HD shoot that is typical for these kinds of
productions, but at least retains definition and detail more than
usual, while the Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound mix is also decent if
slightly flawed at times. There are no extras.
