Three
years after inheriting a billion dollar foundation, Jason Stevens
(Logan Bartholomew) finds himself learning about life from his
deceased grandfather's journal. He learns of his grandfather's past
and that he wasn't born rich like he was, and the things he did,
learned and lost on his path to fame and fortune. Like a ghost from
the past, his grandfather's story tells how he left home and school,
and his determination to become a billionaire. But along the way he
found love, friends and what is important in life.
Stevens
is trying to run a Fortune 500 company, have a relationship with a
nurse and being hounded by greedy relatives, but then he finds his
answers in a journal from 'Red' Stevens, his grandfather. In this
journal he learns how his grandfather went from rags to riches, how
he worked on a ranch, went to war and then returned to start his own
company. But along the way he forgot his family and realized his
greatest legacy was not money or power, but what he left to his
family and their future, and reason he left his fortune to Jason.
This
was a touching story based off the sequel to book The
Ultimate Gift,
the story of a self made young man and how he became rich, but like
all stories of rich men, in the end they found their life quest for
money hollow and are reminded how things like family and love are the
real treasures in life. Peter Fonda also stars.
The
1080p 1.78 X 1 AVC @ 33 MBPS digital High Definition image transfer
is pretty impressive for an HD shoot throughout with a consistent
image and good color, while the DTS-HD MA (Master Audio) 5.1 lossless
mix is warm and defined throughout. Extras includes the Heart of the
Ultimate Life, interviews with cast, crew and author, deleted scenes,
'One Life' Music video and trailers.
