Get ready yet again for the four hero's in a half-shell as they fight old, new enemies. stop crime and other forces of evil, Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael fights the foot clan and stop the alien invasion of the Kraang robots. Splinter faces off with the Shredder with a startling secret in Ultimate Showdown, the latest DVD of the computer animated revival of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

As the four turtles continues to thwart the evil Kraangs invasion plans, they must also stop them from using any more mutagen from creating mutants. As their skills, friends and equipment continue to grows, Leo faces off with Karai and deals with his on and off relations with her, April trains with Splinter. The Shredder allies himself with Kraang Prime, as the four turtles battles the alien invasion, Shredder faces off with Splinter revealing Karai (unbeknownst to her) is actually Splinter's daughter.

This is the new CGI version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, everyone's favorite four pizza loving ninja mutants. In this series, they continue to battle mainly Shredder and the race of Kraang aliens of course, but mainly they fight their army of robots and not as impressive mutants. One of the main changes in this series is the character April, she is no longer a reporter but instead a teenage girl (whom Donatello has a crush on) who is training with them. Also the new character Karai, Shredder's/Splinter's daughter adds different levels of story and drama to the series.

The anamorphically enhanced 1.78 X 1 CGI animated picture is nor bad, but the lossy Dolby sound is flat and disappoints. Extras include 4 shorts, animated comic book, and trailers.
