Ten
year old Nathan (Ethan Bortnick) is devastated when he is told his
mother is MIA in an overseas Army humanitarian/rescue operation, so
he decides to runaway when he discovers he maybe not able to stay
with his father. On the streets, he soon ends up at an orphanage,
there he meets other children who have no place else to go, but when
the orphanage is threaten to close because of lack of funding, Nathan
has a talent to become the star pianist and decides to put on a
charity concert to save the orphanage. That even when everything
seems lost ...there is always still hope in Demetrius Navarro's
Anything Is Possible (2013).
On
top of that nightmare, Nathan then finds out his dad might not be his
real or biological dad, and he might be forced to give him to an
orphanage. He believes he honors his mother and the things she
taught him and hopes by doing so, that someone will also help bring
her home, but this is a huge burden for any child to have and along
with the soft picture and sound, holds back what is otherwise a well
done movie thanks to a convincing cast.
This
was heartfelt movie that is good for the entire family, the story of
hope, even when families are separated, how by helping someone else,
you help yourself as well. Along with the songs and music, the film
had a very positive feel and showed what could happen if people
showed kindness and selflessness (it is sad to see how reality is,
how people are so unwilling to help others) how much a difference
people can make when they all work together. All the characters and
children in the film were far wiser then anyone I ever seen.
