Misfits – Season 3 (2013/BBC DVD Set)

In the last
season of Misfits (spoilers
already!), the last episode ended with the revelation of the mysterious masked
man was the future version Simon, and the appearance of Seth, the man who can
swap/change their powers. As they gain
new powers they are joined new member, Rudy who has the power to duplicate
himself. The series comes to an epic
conclusion as Simon trains to become the superhero that he is destined to be. Before we go on, here are links to our
coverage of the first two seasons:

In Season
Three, Nathen is replaced by Rudy, and their powers and story is heavy changed
by Seth, the super powers dealing merchant. Now, Simon can see into the future, Kelly is a
rocket scientist genius, Alisha can see through other people's eyes, and Curtis
can turn into a girl. By this season, it
is now common knowledge in the world they aren't the only ones with powers, and
as they struggle with their community service they must deal with others with
powers, including time travel, Nazis and zombies, and relationships.
To recap,
Misfits is about a group of
teenagers on probation (and the rest of the world) who suddenly get powers
after a supernatural storm. As they go about doing their community service,
they are the reluctant 'heroes' who fight the bad guys and get rid of their
dead bodies afterwards (including more than a few of their probation workers). Picture and sound are the same as the previous
set, though I am again not as happy with the Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo as I
would like to be. Extras include behind
the scenes, Erazer & Vegas Webisodes, visual and stunts featurette, and on
the set with the misfits.
