Matlock – Season Eight (1993 – 1994/CBS DVD Set)

The mystery
cases continue with Season 8 of Matlock. He maybe old but in the courtroom he is
second to none with courtroom savy, and is the best
defense attorney money can buy. Partner with his daughter Leanne and intern
go-fer attorney Cliff they will tackle any case from petty thievery to
murder.
Matlock
is the Colonel Sanders of the courtroom, his sharp wits, instincts have also made
him nearly succeed in all his cases. More
often he notices the little details at crime scenes and what people say, then
trick the guilty into incriminating themselves on the courtroom floor. He is backed up by his beautiful (and single)
daughter who handles all PR and social media, and Cliff who investigates all
the clues, crime scenes, and does all the legwork for the team.
Before CSI and NYPD, there was Matlock, watch out because this grandpa is going to
get you. This series was filmed in a
time when shows were actually film somewhere than in a fake Hollywood
studio. The detectives were old instead
of young strapping lads just out of crime/law school. Usually each episode is tied up with some
murder, or they are defending their client from being framed from murder, but
it also mixed in with some light drama and comedy sometimes with Matlock and
company's various relationships. Extras
include teasers on all episodes, but that is very weak.
